Support Workers required for small group home in Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire:
We are a small group homes in Oxfordshire providing homes to 6 people with learning disabilities and some mental health problems. We require enthusiastic, professional people who would like to make a difference to our service users every day lives. Experience not essential as we will teach, train and mentor you. We ask our staff to work 12 hour shifts, which enables us to access the community, and provide daycare without the worry of a handover in the middle of the day. Our staff work 2-3 days on and then 2-3 days off. We enable all staff to have a long weekend off every fortnight. The pay is £7.00 per hour, food whilst on shift is provided, and we will train you to a high level. You will be entitled to 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. If you show commitment to the company, and pass your 6 monthly probationary period, we are happy to put candidates forward for their NVQ 2 or 3.
This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders act, and you will be required to undertake a full CRB check and POVA first check which will be paid for by the employer:
