Rare 1920s Royal Doulton Turban Boy figure (£850)

Date posted: Monday 24th March
Location: Fife Scotland

This is a rare opportunity to own this highly collectable Royal Doulton Turban Boy figure.

Sitting just over 3½” or 9.5cm tall, it was designed by Leslie Harradine and issued between 1926 and 1936. There is an almost illegible impression on the base. It looks like 3 digits – possibly 568 but that’s really just a guess.

A little bit of internet research will show that these are on offer in the States for around $2,000! They also pop up occasionally in varying colourways at Christie’s and Sotheby’s.

This example, in great condition, is an absolute bargain for a collector at just £850.

Please email in the first instance to arrange viewing or if you have any questions. (Or we’d be happy to package this up – in ‘bomb-proof’ packaging! - and post it on receipt of payment.)
