Web Applications Developer with solid experience in VB.NET, ASP.NET VB6,SOAP,XML and SQL Server required to join major supplier of self service technology to the UK travel and retail sector.

With multiple offices and a prestigious blue chip client base our client currently employ close to 100 people and are expanding rapidly!

The need is for a motivated individual to join a dynamic and well esetablished team of software developers, the role will involve maintaining and developing an idustry leading online retail booking system which is a web based application that runs in IE6 under IIS.
The core technologies required are:
Software:
VB.NET / ASP.NET
Java script, VBScript both server side and client side execution.
XML for SOAP using MSXML4
XSL for rendering style sheets
Development tools:
VB6 for all dependent COM components, Visual Interdev 6
Databases:
MS SQL Server 2000
