Mediplacements are currently recruiting a Locum Consultant Radiologist for Breast & General Radiology in an ongoing contract in South East England.

Experience in Symptomatic Breast Radiology, Breast Screening, General Radiology and MRI Breast are essential.

The department offers open access to general practitioners for routine general, barium and ultrasound studies and handles a large workload, particularly in, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, CT, MR and interventional techniques. The new appointee must therefore have a wide range of experience including general radiology, and cross-sectional imaging.

A commitment to general reporting and traditional radiological examinations will be expected.

The ideal candidate will be expected to participate in departmental audit and clinical governance process and will also be expected to provide training and education to medical and other departmental staff as required.

Qualifications required are
-FRCR or equivalent
-Full GMC registration
-Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCT, by the interview date
-Must be HPC registered
