Sales Manager, Milton Park £40 - £60k plus outstanding bens package

This is a challenging, new role working for a leading supplier of procurement solutions to a worldwide market. As Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and growing the number of public sector customers within the UK and Northern Ireland and managing a small, professional team who will provide you with all the back up and support you need to be successful. Initially the role will be very strategic, planning how the division will move forward and secure the business and then will move to be completely sales focused as you sell a range of products to the identified markets. This role will involve UK travel for 2-3 days per week.

Essential experience
Proven success in “hands-on” deal-making and closure, within public sector organisations
Business development
Excellent leadership and management skills
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Commercial awareness
Business degree or equivalent qualification
An experienced and articulate manager with good public presence
Creative / marketing flair
Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably with senior public officials and senior executives in the private sector
