An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Computer Simulation Engineer to join a leading Aerospace organisation based in Hertfordshire. This organisation has a strong reputation for excellence within its field and ensures its employees receive every possibility to advance their careers.

As Computer Simulation Engineer you will be expected to participate in the development of computer and data handling system simulators for current and future projects. You will also review the simulation requirements and then design, develop and validate the high-fidelity software models of computer (LEON processors) and data handling systems.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) ideally in computer science, software engineering, electronics or similar, and have an extensive experience in object-oriented software design and development in C/C++ language. You will also have knowledge of LEON processor, Power PC and LINUX or VxWorks OS. Some knowledge of Java would be advantageous but is not essential.

This position does require travel throughout Europe and possible for extended periods at a time.
