Required: Technical Author
Role: Based in Oxford, a position has arisen within a growing business for a Technical Author to join the team. The successful candidate will work closely with the development team, taking ownership for creating and maintaining product manuals, coding documentation, tutorials, FAQs and other related information digitally and in print.
The appropriate applicant will have an autonomous approach and be comfortable setting up an authoring function, implementing change and driving new solutions. Initially amending the existing documentation and ensuring a uniformly high standard for the future. You will provide input into the online help system and CMS.

Principle Skills
Strong written and oral English
Ability to write clear technical documentation
Ability to distill disparate information into easy-to-digest documents
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Word
Good eye for layout
Desirable Skills:
Commercial track record of working with content management systems
Knowledge of the IT industry
C++ and/or other development language (Scripting)
