Technical Support Engineer
Pro2col are looking for a bilingual Technical Support Engineer with a background in hardware and software support and a minimum of 1 year’s experience in the field.
Fluent spoken English and German is required as this role will be working alongside our German Office, providing support to both English and German customers.
Daily Activities will Include;
Responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service; building and maintaining relationships with clients.
Liaising with clients to provide a proactive and resourceful approach to support and technical problem resolution via E-Mail, phone and occasionally on site visits
Identify and correct or advise on operational issues in client computer systems
Onsite and remote configuration and installation of client’s hardware and software solutions
Building and testing hardware, prior to the end product being sent out to clients
Provide training to clients in the use of File Transfer Solutions
Perform light lifting 15kgs maximum
Personal Qualities/ Skills Required;
The ideal candidate will be technically astute, possess great attention to detail and have a keen interest in IT and current solutions/technologies
Have strong diagnostic capabilities and installation skills, with experience of providing technical support and some hardware experience. Some Linux command line experience, firewall configuration and IP networking would be an added advantage.
Be highly organised and reliable with good communication and documentation skills
Excellent English (Oral and Written) with fluency in the spoken German language
Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers
Willingness to learn new systems and skills

Salary Guide 16-20K Dependent on Experience
