Assistant Landscape Officer – Banbury – £12.38 to £15.30 PH – 5 Months:
Champion Technical has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Landscape Officer to work for a Banbury based Public Sector organisation.
Working along side the organisations Landscape Officer, the Assistant Landscape Officer will be responsible for the monitoring of contracts for Landscape Maintenance and Floral Provision, to include monitoring the contractor’s performance, issuing contract instructions and authorising payments. You will also supervise the day to day delivery of the Landscape contracts within the Landscape service area.
The successful Assistant Landscape Officer should have knowledge of Horticulture, Sports Pitch Maintenance and Floral Provision and be driven by delivering a high quality standard of service. A HNC in Horticulture or an equivalent qualification with proven industry experience is essential for this role. You should also possess good IT skills and knowledge of grounds maintenance management systems (including GIS) would be desirable but not essential.
