Hello – I am looking to employ a night nanny in the Lechlade area just outside of Oxford.

I run a very small business which helps new mothers with the care of their babies in a small residential setting. Your job would be to be on call for up to 4 mothers (and their babes) during the night to help them get their babies into a regular sleep routine and to enable the mums to get a good nights sleep.

Requirements :
• must have at least 5 years experience of working with babies under one
• be legally allowed to work in the UK
• Be (or willing to be) CRB checked
• Be fully first aid trained
• Be able to provide at least 2 good references
• Must be professional, presentable, amiable and tolerant of the difficulties new mothers face.

You must also be willing to do other tasks around the house (eg, peeling and chopping vegetables, v basic housekeeping etc) – during the times that the babies are all asleep. You must also be willing to commit for 20 weeks per year (none during school holidays) as we are a very small team and it is essential that we work with someone who is interested in working for the long term.
