Exciting new temporary - permanent  job in the Collections department based in East Oxford.  Credit controller responsible for a high number of accounts (between 4000 – 5000 accounts).  For this job you will have experience of very high volume, low value accounts.   You will need business to business and business to consumer collections experience.   
Main duties on a daily basis:

- Cash collection activity by telephone, high volume of outgoing calls
- Monitoring credit limits
- Dealing with incoming calls, logging customer queries relating to invoices if required
- Monitoring of stop procedure ensuring accounts are taken off hold and placed on hold as per policy
- Credit note processing
- Escalating problem accounts as per department's procedure and company policy to in house Legal Department
- Reporting on monthly basis to line manager on overdue accounts, legal accounts, cash sale and credit limits
- Working as part of a large Credit Control team liaising with relevant internal customers to ensure department's targets and objectives are achieved
