Waves Hair & Beauty in Princes Risborough is looking for a Salon Assistant . . .

No previous salon experience is required but a real passion for hair and beauty would be useful

You will be responsible for the general well being of clients & will be required to assist stylists & technicians as & when needed

There is a very high level of customer contact, so you must be well-presented with excellent communication skills & you should always know what is occurring within the salon at all times

This is a full time position Monday through to Saturday with flexible staggered shifts to fit in with our salon hours which are currently . . .

Monday 9.00am to 5.30pm
Tuesday 9.00am to 5.30pm
Wednesday 9.00am to 9.00pm
Thursday 9.00am to 9.00pm
Friday 9.00am to 7.00pm
Saturday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Your duties will include among other things . . .

Greet, seat & make refreshments for clients
All aspects of salon, staff room & back office cleaning
Manage the laundry
Clean combs, hair rollers, other implements & equipment
Perform reception duties
Stack shelves with products & carry out regular stock checks

You must also possess high, professional customer service standards &

Be professional & confident
With lots of passion & enthusiasm
Be self motivated & flexible
Have excellent communication skills
Be able to offer meaningful, relevant conversation
Be a strong team player
With a smart clean appearance
Maintain high levels of cleanliness & excellent personal hygiene
Be in good health with no skin allergies
Be able to exercise discretion
Be able to take directions
