Accounts Assistant
Main Activities/Duties
Areas of responsibility include:
1. Processing of data entry for
· Project codes and signing powers
· Staff to Project adjustments
· Journals (manual and spreadsheet upload to Oracle)
· Budgets
· Sales Invoices
· Database entry
· External claims
· Cost of Living Allowances and Wires for foreign payments
2. Answering queries from Project Managers, external budget holders, departmental staff and other Finance colleagues.
4. Filing, photocopying, scanning documents, domestic duties.
5. Working with other team members to deliver a professional and efficient financial service.

Personal Qualities, experience, skills and qualifications
Candidates will be expected to have:
· Worked in a financial environment and have a broad knowledge of accounting procedures
· Processed Oracle transactions within FAMIS and have knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access and Outlook.
· Good attention to detail
· Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), with the ability to deal with staff at all levels.
· A flexible, customer focused approach and be a self-motivated individual
· An ability to work to fixed deadlines
· An ability to fit into a team environment
