ROLE Logistics/Warehouse Administrator
REPORTING TO Branch Manager
LOCATION Swindon
SALARY Around £20,000
My client, a parts distributor, is looking for an experienced Logistics Administrator to manage the process of goods coming in and out of the warehouse including customer support, administration, invoicing, and general equipment servicing. This requires an independent, mature and highly organised person as you may need to work alone and unsupervised on occasion, and in a high pressured environment.
The role will include:
* Customer support and service via telephone
* Control of incoming and outgoing goods
* Creating outgoing invoices via internal system and dealing with incoming invoices
* Sending invoices to group accountants
* Dealing with unpaid invoices in conjunction with group (chasing some UK customers)
* Administration of all goods movements in the system
* Carrying out inventories
* General administration tasks
* Monitoring technical equipment (ie. managing servicing of warehouse vehicles)
* Warehouse organisation - general upkeep
The hours can be:
* 7am - 3.30pm or
* 8.30am - 5pm
You will need to have:
* At least one years experience in a similar role managing logistics and/or parts in/out
* The ability and confidence to work on your own and under pressure
* The desire to stay within a company for a long time
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software applications
* Excellent organizational skills
* Discretion with confidential information
