TRAINING OFFICER - £27,877 - WITNEY, OXON
Our client is a national Christian charity and Registered Social Landlord specialising in providing at-risk marginalised groups, including those leaving prison, with accommodation, support and rehabilitation. The development of their employees is important to them and this is where you come in.
This exciting new role will include the planning and delivery of the Trust’s training programmes (including on-line resources and blended learning) within agreed timescales and to budget.
An experienced Training Officer or similar, with excellent communication and motivational skills, you’ll be a self starter with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team with experience of providing quality training to recognised quality standards including NVQ within the social care, justice or housing sectors.
You will understand the need to ensure courses are externally accredited and meet relevant legislative requirements.
As well as delivering the training you will also prepare high quality pre-course study materials and assist other specialists in the preparation and delivery of course materials, certificates and act on feedback from delegates. You will identify and arrange external training when required, ensuring all trainers meet the requirements of the Trust’s training strategy. An effective trainer, you will maintain training records for the Trust and prepare and update statistical and routine reports for your department.
This is a key role which fully integrates the Christian values of the organisation by ensuring the spiritual ethos of the Trust is upheld and promoted in all training, whether internally or externally provided, and by providing a strong Christian presence through leading Christian worship and devotions at training events and meetings.
The post holder will be a committed and practicing Christian with a passion for training staff to change the lives of those who have previously offended or who are at risk of offending.
