The Company
Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting for an Accountant to join this Global Retail Company based out side of Bicester,Oxfordshire.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the Accountant will be responsible for undertaking general accounting duties, including assisting in management and statutory reporting for 3 companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inter-company charging and reconciliations to include corporate loans Posting of journals Checking and assisting in production of payment runs
Liaise with budget holders in respect of cost and coding issues
Perform reconciliation of bank accounts
Perform monthly reconciliation of all other control accounts
Perform ongoing reviews of Insight purchase order system in respect of exceptions, coding and processes
Oversee the day to day running of the purchase ledger and assist in query/account /coding resolution and peak period processing support
Check and certify month end petty cash
Responsible for reconciliation of payments and receipts in respect of village gift card scheme
Reporting:
Produce monthly cost variance reports
Assist in production of quarterly reports
Assist in production of statutory accounts.
The success full Accountant will be Part Qualified to Finalist level in their ACCA or CIMA qualification and posses excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
£28,000-£34000 + bens + study support
