Hi - thanks for taking the time to read this - hopefully you'll agree by the end its 2 minutes well spent!

I've been looking to get into venture capital for some time, but have noticed a couple of flaws:
1. Investment levels required are often very high, or give a low share of equity
2. Investment networks usually charge a fee to either investors or entrepreneurs, thus restricting smaller investments.

I believe I've therefore found a niche in the market to set up an investment group for investors who wish to make smaller investments, or who would like to pool resources with other small investors for a larger investment. For entrepreneurs, this would open up a new channel of small scale investment coupled with expertise.

There are two possible methods that could be explored:
1. Each investor retains the power to decide on his/her own individual investments individually.
2. Funds are pooled and the group votes on investment proposals at periodic meetings.

What I'm therefore looking for is like minded individuals who think this could be a good idea to contact me. I'm not looking for specific commitments on how much you can invest for now, just an expression of interest.

Even with just half a dozen people on board, I believe this could become a really viable way to enter the Venture Capital arena.
