My client is recruiting for an experienced Embedded C Software Engineer to work on their new vision sensor. Embedded C Software Engineers need to have experience working with the following skills;
* Embedded C
* DSP
* DaVinci DSP
* FPGA
* Microcontrollers
* C++
The successful Embedded C Software Engineer will be undertaking the following tasks;
* Developing software in C for the TI DaVinci DSP using the CCS development system. This software will include interfacing the sensor to external devices, vision analysis, FLASH data storage and general control functions.
* Interface to FPGA, Ethernet controller, PICs and other hardware devices.
* Control software for other intelligent peripherals to the sensor head. These will use different embedded microcontrollers depending on the exact task.

My client therefore is expanding his team by 10% over the next month in the Electronics, Development and Support teams.
