The Oxford Belfry is a 4 star property, located near Thame, in 15 acres of the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Part of the luxury Q Hotels chain, our Hotel has 154 stylish rooms, 17 conference and meeting rooms and a spa and leisure club. A recently completed 5 million refurbishment project, this is a great time to join the Oxford Belfry and we want to take people on board that are keen to progress their career within a reputable and expanding hotel group.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is a new addition to the department, and is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in getting into a structured sales hotel environment. The Position is a dual role and will be responsible for reservations and sales co-ordinator duties in the hotel sales department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES To manage administration duties within the sales office: toinclude daily reportcreation, stockcontrol of marketing material, general filing, inputting reservations on the hotel system, dealing with customer queries on the telephoneand supporting the sales team.

Role will also develop into a sales co-ordinator position whereby the booking and organising of conferences and events will be involved.

Previous experience in an office environment and a particular interest in hospitality sales is required, full training can be provided on both in-house hotel systems.

£12,500 - £14,000 per annum, depending on experience

Effective communication skills

Computer Literacy – good working knowledge of Windows based application. (Delphi MPE desirable)

Accuracy and attention to detail is essential, as is excellent organisational skills
