Web Developer
Web Developer required by dedicated Web Team to provide the link between the in-house .Net Developers and the content editors, in a role created to develop the user interfaces for a number of exciting websites and applications.
The successful candidate will have a good grounding in ASP.Net 2.0, C#, CSS, XSLT, XHTML, Javascript, AJAX and ideally a CMS - Content Management System. This role would suit an all-round Web Developer who has excellent cross-browser CSS / XHTML skills, especially focusing on table-less layout and separation of presentation from content, who takes pride in the design and usability of the solutions they develop. They must have an eye for overall design and page layout but is as interested in how a user interacts with their solution as they are in how it works technically.
You will be working for an expanding (150+ staff) provider of tailor made / bespoke holidays and small group tours throughout the world, you will be based in a stunning part of Oxfordshire and be a member of the development team who are currently revolutionising the way holidays are planned via the internet.
You will have a portfolio of previous work showing a high level of design and usability within web or application development, plus a keen interest in the latest trends in web design and development techniques.
