Hi, I'm 28 years old and I've been playing guitar since I was a kid. I used to play lead guitar in a covesr band where I lived until moving down to the area last month. I live in the centre of Oxford and I've been told that there are plenty of studio rehearsal places available for not that much money :)

I'm looking for other people who would be interested in forming a fun covers band so that we can play some gigs, entertain some people and make some money while doing it.

The band that I was in played anything from The Beatles to Muse, stopping off at David Bowie, T-Rex, Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Oasis along the way.

I'm new to the area and so I don't have any other members yet. I'd envisage needing - rhythm guitar, vocals, bass, drums, maybe keys as well.

Playing in a covers band can be a great way to play your instrument in front of crowds without having the stress and dedication involved with forming an originals band and trying to "make it".
