It's Got "The Cor Blimey Factor....!"

At times, I work in a surveillance capacity in my main profession and I have used a lot of nifty devices across the years. But I have only recently come across this outstanding little camera, which records audio and video totally competently and covertly, whether inserted into a buttonhole or left standing somewhere out of view. (Some tiny spycams, like the fob variety, don't do audio quite so well...be aware of this).

What's even better, is that this particular one is the height of simplicity to start using: even GRANNY can use one!

Easy Peasy...

Following my carefully drafted instructions - which I insert into every pack - you will have your spycam monitoring goodness-knows-what "dodgy goings-on", within minutes of charging it up. Honestly, I think EVERY home should have at least one because who knows when it can come in handy! And takes literally a second to set up when it's been charged.

So, let's suggest that aside from you trying to uncover the shenanigans of your partner or furtive teenagers, you could use it quite simply and innocently for parties, interviews, group gatherings, family get togethers, anything where you'd love to have a great film footage but can't be bothered with the faff of larger cameras and sticking lenses in folk's faces. Just put this down in a tried and tested position, and let it get on with it. Now believe me, the chance footage you will get on THIS nifty device, will be FAR more interesting and will surprise even YOU! I ran it in my kitchen for 2 hours and was staggered to see even my own behaviour once I'd forgotten the blasted thing was there! ;-) Do I really do THAT? It's huge fun but has many very serious applications.

Quality Outputs...

I have been totally staggered by the quality of images and videography this tiny gadget produces, especially when it is used in a static fashion. The audio, even at some distance, is crystal clear.

As a surveillance and covert operations specialist please take my word that you absolutely won't be disappointed by either the audio or the video output of this camera. Now, please be aware that these do come into UK from the Far East and as such there have been dodgy batches, so take care when buying directly from the Far East. In addition, what you will find if you buy one of these directly from China or Taiwan, is that they come with full instructions in Chinglish. That's Chinese English. There's NO way you can understand it! I laughed myself silly when I first read that to operate this device I would need an elephant and may get an electric shock - yes seriously! It took me a few hours of playing about with the device and reconnecting to the laptop, before I had the faintest clue how it WORKED! So, dear confused buyers, sweat not - I'll save you the hassle and effort of obtaining an elephant, and send you MY instructions. You won't even need a giraffe or a gamekeeper....but for humour factor I will enclose the original instruction sheet aswell - it's worth framing - it REALLY says you need an elephant!

Downloading and Viewing

Even the village idiot can work this one out. It comes with only one small cable, and that is the USB connector that plugs into the camera and then into the computer. Having put the software on the computer (2 seconds insertion in your CD rom drive) - plug the cam ingto the computer's USB port and - hey presto, up pops the video list! If you have filmed something (and I often find I've filmed bits I didn't know I had!) then the mere plugging in of the gizmo will bring up a screen saying 'videos' - you look at the listed files and that's that. Double click a file, and it will play straight away. You can edit files and create videos for iPod, even, by buying Apple Quicktime Pro - otherwise all you can do is play, and save. Quicktime Pro cost me a measly twenty quid too, and it's also EASY!
