Reporting and Analysis Accountant
Our Client, a leading public services provider, is looking for a Reporting and Analysis Accountant to work in their offices based in Oxfordshire.
Salary - up to £37,000 + benefits
The main objective of this role is to deliver high quality financial reporting, planning and analysis service to the business and to Group.
Key responsibilities for the role include;
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial records of Logistics in accordance with recognised accounting standards.
* Deputise for the Finance Manager and deputise for the Financial Accountancy as and when required
* Responsible for the reporting of actual. Forecast and budget results from the different income streams within Logistics.
* Responsible for the maintenance of detailed financial analysis, to include asset utilisation, contract performance, Cost Value Reconciliations and business stream, performance.
* Prepare weekly estimates of future financial performance.
* Ensure that all month end, forecast and budget requirements and deadlines are met, initiating remedial actions if necessary.
* Develop and maintain financial models to provide better forecasting of financial performance for the business.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (or qualified through experience, or working towards a recognised professional accountancy qualification) and have Financial Modelling experience.
