Choirs, bands and musicians wanted for Oxford Christmas Market

We are looking for local choirs, bands and musicians that would like to perform at the Christmas Market to add to the festive atmosphere.

The Oxford Christmas Market is a German-style Christmas Market which takes place in the heart of the city at the Oxford Castle from 10–20 December 2009 and includes 25-30 wooden stalls selling mostly handmade and fair-trade products, hot mulled wine, gingerbread and seasonal local food. Two charities are given a free stall during the event and the proceeds from their sales will help support their good causes. School choirs and brass bands are performing Christmas carols throughout the 10 days, adding to the festive atmosphere, and a small Victorian carousel will delight the children.

There are still several performing slots available weekdays from 4-8pm and at weekends from 11am-8pm.
