Managing the team that deals with the accounting of stock for resale, you will have responsibility for authorising payment for stock, managing the returns process, liaising with other departments to investigate queries and completing month end reconciliations to support the accounts. You will have specific responsibility for managing the members of the team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to schedule and supported with month end reconciliations, that intrastats are submitted, ledgers are allocated, provisions are monitored, debit notes are raised and recovered and all variances are flagged to the relevant department so action can be taken.
