Parkhouse Bell is recruiting on behalf of an organisation that provides training programmes, careers advice and work placements to unemployed people with varying skills, skill-levels and backgrounds. Our client has centres throughout the UK and is currently expanding.
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Basic Skills Tutor for one of their Oxford Centre. The job involves delivering training sessions in English as a second language to learners in preparation for them taking nationally recognised qualifications and/or to seek employment.
You must have a suitable qualification of teaching English as a second language to learners, experience delivering teaching sessions to learners and experience in developing schemes of work and lesson plans to suit a specific group of learners. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated teaching experience, enjoy meeting new people and be enthusiastic about supporting people who are looking for work or to expand their skills.
The successful candidate must:
* Have experience of working with adult learners
* Have either an CELTA/TESOL qualification
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
The salary for this role is £21,000 plus bonuses for the number of learner qualification gained. You will also receive bonuses for additional aspects of the role. Interviews will be immediate.
