My client based in Witney is looking for a Credit Controller to start as soon as possible, initially on a contract basis for 3 months however the client may be looking to fill this position permanently.

This will be an ideal opportunity for any candidate who understands the importance of financial control and who is interested to provide a service to client companies. It will require a subtle blend of accuracy, thoroughness and diplomacy. They are looking for somebody who has dealt with large and multiple clients in the past, and have knowledge of operating invoice discounting or debt factoring facilities.

Principal purpose of the role
The collection of receivables from customers within agreed credit terms;
The reconciliation of customer accounts with their records;
The submission of data to and reconciliation within the company’s online invoice discounting facilities;
The submission of weekly and monthly reports to the invoice discounting bank.

Specific candidate requirements
Credit control experience with large company customers;
Experience of operating invoice discounting or debt factoring facilities;
Extensive Word, Excel and Outlook experience;
Aptitude for good personal organisation;
Aptitude for providing an accounting service
Flexible enough to work in a small team;
Confident enough to work to measurable objectives.
