Our client is looking for an competent and experienced Housing Officer to join their neighbourhoods team. You will have had experience of working within an Anti Social Behaviour environment and taking tenants to court therefore excellent communication skills are key. Ideally you will have worked in the Social Housing sector and have dealt with the public.
Other key responsibilities included;
Provide front line housing management services and housing advice to tenants, tenant/resident groups or their representatives.
To be responsible, as part of a Housing Management team, for providing a responsive and pro-active service to residents in general needs and sheltered housing.
Pro-actively, work with local voluntary and statutory agencies and communities themselves to resolve their problems.
Furthermore you will need a systematic approach to your work and to the delivery of targets.
Good IT skills and the ability to read reports is also essential.
You will also be a vehicle owner and have a valid driving licence
This role is initially for a period of 3months however negotiations are taking place which may lead to a 2 yr fixed contract.
