German speaking Technical Support Specialist

Our client, a large company, is seeking to recruit a German speaking Technical Support Specialist for their office based in Buckinghamshire

Job Role

This job role will require you to:

• Provide comprehensive end-user support via phone and e-mail
• Assist Sales with technical issues to win new accounts
• Conduct regular QA and beta testing
• Research and writes knowledgebase articles
• Work with engineers to resolve technical issues users are having
• Provide suggestions for improvement of products, based on user feedback
• Help product management prioritize key customer issues and solutions
• Provide consulting services for high-end customizations
• Provide end-user training
• Administration of Service Replacement Orders
• Administration of Service Return for Credit Orders
• Administration of return collections
• Communication with couriers / warehouse
• Communication with customers / dealers
• Preparation of service reports
• Answering and distribution of phone call overflows

The Candidate

• Excellent German language skills are mandatory
• Applicants must be energetic, have good technical aptitude, have a good understanding of MIDI, digital recording and Live Audio and good personal skills. Strong computer (Mac and PC) and musical skills are necessary.
• College degree, Audio Schools preferred.
• Direct end-user/customer support experience preferred
• Audio industry experience strongly preferred
• Proficient with MS Office – Excel, Oracle and File maker in particular
• Excellent written/verbal communication and problem solving skills
• Knowledge/experience with Windows 9x, NT, 2000, XP, Vista and/or Mac OS
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Team player
• ‘Hands On’ personality

Salary: £18-21k
Benefits: 24 days holiday +bank holidays + birthday holiday
